Mike Boris is an award-winning Music Supervisor, Producer, Strategist and Music Entrepreneur with a solid reputation for his unique way of thinking outside the traditional, and bringing exciting innovative ideas to every project. Mike’s expertise lies in bringing music and brands together creatively and seamlessly. To date he has worked on over 7,000 commercials.

Mike initially cut his music production teeth as an engineer at NYC’s legendary Edison Studios, and then as chief engineer at JSM Music. He got his start on the agency side as a music producer at Ogilvy & Mather, then went on to serve as VP, Head of Music at Bates. and then spent nearly a decade as SVP, Head of Music at McCann Erickson. 

Mike currently consults for countless agencies including EP&Co, Lloyd&Co, Johannes Leonardo, DAVID, DiNoto, Saatchi, Havas, Y&R, Team One, Ferrara & Company, JWT, Combe,  HS Ad, Carl Byrd, BoomAgers Impacting big name brands like Weight Watchers, Kohl’s, Puma, Dove, Barney’s, Pepsi, Coke, iHome, Denny's, TUMI, Wendys and Estée Lauder just name a few.

Mike has produced for many of artists, including Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, Plain White T’s, Lenny Kravitz, Vanessa Carlton, Salaam Remi, Sister’s Beyonce and Solonge Knowles, Mark Isham , Bruce Hornsby and Jimmy Napes.

He has also indie'd it up by working with countless up-and-coming artists over the years who have provided music for different brands. 

In his spare time he teaches a workshop at the Berklee's School of Music's Power Station Studio, is on the advisory board's of SUNY Oswego's School of Communications Media and the Arts, and on the advisory of the Saddle River Youth Theatre.
